Through muted but magnetic takes on classics like “How Long Has This Been Going On” and “Over The Rainbow,” Wainwright finds timely strata of darkness and hope. Rufus Does Judy At Carnegie Hall was a spectacle of splendid imitation; here's a showcase of sensitive interpretation.
