The American Armed Forces Radio "One Night Stand" programs ran from 1943 to 1966 and featured numerous Best known and lesser known Jazz artists. Over time the series produced 15,000 fifteen minute programs and amongst the most famous must surely be Stan Kenton And His Orchestra who were featured on at least sixty. This CD features three of the programs from 1958 when the band were riding high. It features two fifteen minute programs and one lasting thirty minutes.
