This single CD, released by reputable reissue label from UK in 2015, contains two rare complete albums by Terry Snyder and the All Stars, with 24 songs. If you are a collector of those sparkling instrumental music in stereo, you will be familiar with Terry Snyder. He was responsible for one of the most innovative albums "Persuasive Percussion" on Command label. He moved on to United Artists, and these are his two rare albums making their CD debut! Unique Percussion is really a re-release of "Mister Percussion" first released in 1960 with the same front cover and track listing. Here, you have all the "heavy-weight artists" of the time: Al Caiola (guitar), Tony Mottola (guitar), Doc Severinsen (trumpet) and of course Terry Snyder (drums). That album was considered a great advance in the revolution in musical sound, penetrating even more deeply into the thrilling world of percussive sound, exploring via ingenious arrangements musically entrancing Latin rhythms, performed by the world's outstanding musicians. The choice and placement of special microphones for each instrument was carefully planned.
