The balance was brilliantly caught by the engineer and of course, no overdubs, just real music played by real musicians in 'the moment'. The remastering has been done from the original session tapes but utilises the most modern technology. This music has never sounded better or more powerful and I think this rework of the original tapes brings out even more of the power of the piano, the sheer percussiveness of the playing. This set is no mere 'reissue' but is a complete reimagining of this classic session.
